DESCRIPTION: A Wide Ruins Navajo rug is known for its finely spun wool, tight weave, and intricate banded patterns that often feature repeating diamond or stepped motifs. These rugs are typically woven in a muted, earthy palette of vegetable-dyed colors such as soft yellows, greens, browns, and rose tones. Originating from the Wide Ruins area in Arizona, they reflect a refined aesthetic rooted in traditional Navajo design and natural dyeing techniques.
